I keep switching between being terribly excited to leave Alaska and move to Colorado and being terrified of Colorado and leaving Alaska lol.
So I misunderstood what my husband was saying earlier. He thought our report date was the 31st of March but it isn’t. If they don’t approve extending here for some more time to pack up, we may have to be at Fort Carson in a month or less.
I have to call Fort Carson and ask about housing but I’m terrified and anxious and don’t know what to ask, how to get a house, if there’s even a house available, and I have to do all this to help take the stress off my husband because
Crossing my fingers and hoping Nick gets his official orders today so I can call housing at Fort Carson.
I am exhausted.

Enjoyed a nice walk on post today :) Juvia saw soldiers on the other side of the road and got so upset when she realized they weren’t Nick lol. Poor thing. He leaves tomorrow morning to go to Texas to *finally* get our car back!

Went to the zoo today! I got to feed giraffes today and it was the best thing ever. I saw so many animals I’ve never seen in person before, like that mountain lion, or the rhinoceros or the hippos. In the reptile house, there was the sweetest

I had a dream that my parents tried to make me move to fort Bragg with them. They were getting mad at me, and I didn’t want to go, and it was only towards the end of that dream that my dream self remembered I am with Nick at fort Carson now.
I live in such a beautiful place and it never fails to impress me. I love it here in Colorado<3 If you get stationed at Fort Carson, I highly recommend visiting Garden of the Gods. Do not delete text or self promote, thanks

It was very dark and stormy looking so I waited five minutes and it cleared up for our walk lol.
